Flashlight on helmet

Please help( How to attach a flashlight to a helmet? Both the flashlight and the helmet can be put on separately, but not together

For the helmet you need the flashlight attachment which you use on the weapons....I made that mistake as well.

You can attach the headlamp flashlight onto the Anti-Distortion Headgear, but the FAST helmet cannot accept the headlamp flashlight. Instead, you need to attach the gun attachment flashlight to one of the rails on the side of the helmet. The two lower tier helmets cannot accept any flashlight attachment. Edit: This is incorrect.

I tried to attach the flashlight to all three helmets and to the Anti-Distortion Headgear, both from the side and from the front, the flashlight just falls to the ground. I tried to attach it when the helmet is on my head and when the helmet is hanging on the stand. No blue borders appear indicating the possibility of attachment - like with sights or silencers. Can you describe the algorithm of actions?

Also, I stand corrected, it turns out you can attach the headlamp light onto first tier helmet, and the gun attachment light to the second and third tier helmets.

⚙️ [Gear] Attachments on worn helmets and Anti-Distortion Headgear can now be turned on and off without taking off the headgear (use Y/B + Trigger).

So the Head Flashlight item is only for the Anti-Distortion Headgear? Making the Small Flashlight the only option for both the FAST Helmet and the PASGT Helmet to mount on the rails above the left and right temples on the head?
The mount on the forehead of the FAST Helmet is tripping me up.

No, I was incorrect in my original response. The head flashlight can be used with the Anti-distortion Headgear, or the first tier cloth helmet.

The second and third tier helmet indeed cannot use the head flashlight, and must instead use the attachment flashlight on one of the helmet's attachment rails.

Also, you can just wear the head flashlight on it's own, without a helmet. You'll have to remember to take it off when you go to put on a helmet of any kind.
