Can't Equipt New Backpack?

Maybe I missed the button to do it but bought the next back pack for 1000 SP and I can't equipped it to my back? It just falls to the ground and the when I go to pull my back pack the old one is the one I grab. Am I missing something? 🥲

Put old one on one of the hangers around the base and you can equip the new one, alternative hold A or X and grab the backpack from the back and it will "detach" from you allowing another to be equipped as well.

there are backpack stands in the base. you should be able to put the old one on that and then equip the new one. they are by the healing station.

I been using the Vive, i cant replace the backpack or the vest either... just empty everything out, go into the zone then shoot yourself in the head to re spawn back at the depot. Then you will be able to equip a new one and just forget about the old one. can go back and get it if you want though

You had to make sure you unlock it by completing the tutorial for it - (Step into white floating things inside the armory). When you do, it should explain how you do it.
Only when you read what it says can you do it - not before which was weird. I had to put my old one on the back pack stand. Then i could grab it off the stand and sell it. Same deal with the vests.

If you hold A/X button and grab the backpack, then you "unlock" it from your gear same as you do with vests/helmets.
