Performance Issue hardware data thread
Kinda a long shot but I was hoping to start the thread here to find what might be causing the performance issues on recommended and above recommended hardware for ITR2

I have seen that so far a bunch of people with NVIDIA GPUs are running into issues performance wise

Just list your specs below and maybe we can find something everyone has in common that could be the issue

I’ll go first:
i5-8500, RTX3060OC, Valve index

i7-13700K, 64GB, RTX 4070Ti, Pico Neo3 Link @ Virtual Desktop.
Resolution 100%, VD Setting High, 90 fps target, Nvidia Game Ready Driver 560.70

Ingame settings High, except for shadows and view distance -> Medium

My GPU is pumping hard to hold stable 90fps. In "Forest", during night (with handlamp on)
and Facility (outside, when facing the exit gates) I get heavy stuttering and framedrops down to 70-75 fps. It seems shadows are the main "problem" of the stutters.

Interesting, seems home base is consistently the worst are for Performance

i got an i713th gen, 16gb of ddr5 4800 ram and a 4060 on a quest 2. even with everything on low and at 70% resolution the game still is laggy asf especially in homebase my view also goes weird and for some reason it runs worse on 70% resolution??? idk what they did to the code but they are tripping

if youre using VD dont hard wire or use steam link dev even says that VDXR is a current issue being worked on, im on ryzen 9 7950x3d, 48gb ram, 4090 msi suprim with latest drivers, win 11, using a quest 3 via steam link highest settings with quest settings set to use full 350mbps transfer speeds, to save a bit of battery and to steady the visuals i have it set to 70 fps instead of the default 90 fps

You should see a significant performance increase. Went from 100% Medium to 130% High/Medium.

i5 12600k, TUF 4070ti, 32gb ram, NVMe, Win 10, Quest 3 AirLink/Wired

Shadows are an insane performance hit

ryzen 9 3900x rtx 3080 on the quest 2. home base is extremely bad for performance. rest of the game is ok. running on medium settings barely helps

AMD 5600, Geforce 3600 TI, 32 gig Ram, VD on a WAVLINK WiFi 6 Router AX1800 Wireless, Getting a steady 72 fps in all areas, I'll get a stutter once in a while, but I think it's more from packet lose than dropped frames. You'll know it's packet lose and router related if the sound also skips, were as dropped frames will be graphical only.

3080 12GB
Ryzen 9 3900x
32GB Ram
Rift S

Getting fine FPS, even reaching my max Hz on my headset with full settings 100% scaling. Have yet to run into performance issues personally.

RTX 4070 Super
I5 12400F
32GB -3600 Mhz
Pico 4 (res 2150x2150) with Virtual Desktop ( set to VDXR )

To have 90-80 fps must lower res to 90 % ... Look blurry , not clear enough for me .
When i set 100% - 110% res look very nice but frame rate is to low for me ( 65-80fps and shuttering)
Yes - shadows destroy performance but clear resolution more ;P

They cant block you from viewing the system files, this still works for me

Has anyone else noticed blurriness after the update that was not there before? I haven't changed any settings, but now there definitely a blurry spot covering the center of my view. Is there a place I can check to see what my resolution is set to? As compared to what is should be?
