Lags in the forest

i have tried it out and experienced several lags, my PC has all the components and the steamVR graph also has a time of 3-5ms, but sometimes when I'm in the forest it starts to lag, but it's as if I were only setting 15fps, I have all the settings I know set for VR, ALL and when I pause it everything is ok, I continue playing it starts lagging again until it crashes, I am aware that this is an early access game,

My question is whether others feel the same way and if so, did I get it fixed and if so, how?

Idk what vr set you using but if you can try without steamvr. I have quest 3 and play by quest link without steamvr and dont have lags.

wdym without steam vr?, i have a quest 2 and use a link kable, what do you use?

It's poorly optimized in parts of the forest, where if there is near by enemy Ai especially , the frame rate will tank and mostly the CPU's fault with no help from altering the settings. Anything above low shadows also at night with the flashlight is extremely harsh as the real time shadows kill fps. The North and West side of Forest are terrible right now.
