How does enemy spawning work?
I'm wondering if it can bug and multiply enemies, I'm getting owned at the bridge area of the west side of Forest where I counted nearly 35 enemies (you read that # correctly). Not to mention their high number count is causing frame-rate issues.

I never had that many spawn for me. though i usually clear peninsula. and for forest, I don't go where I'm not needed to be yet. there was a spot i eventually got to- maybe 10 enemies. I haven't seen it get worse than that. Maybe ... it has something to do with the Tide.

Next time, try sleeping through a tide before going out, and don't leave unless you absolutely have to.
if you are doing a bunch of missions then bring the right rig, the right backpack, and make sure you have at least 2 boxes of ammo for each gun you are bringing. If you're only bringing one gun, bring 4 boxes.

Good luck

yea there is currently a bug where if you respawn it will spawn the enemies you had fought, regardless if you killed them or not. its best to re load to the last autosave as of right now, and kinda a bummer if you try to play co op

DId you have this bug in single player ? Only had this in multi. we fought something like 20 tumbleweeds at once it was hell

I think the tide itself is bugged, because i found empty boxes of ammo and crackers on the floor even after a tide.

items picked up and dropped definitely stay but at least new items still spawn regardless.
actually, if you have like, 15 boxes laying around with no ammo, the boxes themselves gives adequate money
well ... adequate for an empty box.

Happened to me in single player, I haven't tried co-op at all.

yeah, but that is kinda an issue, I imagine it could cause bloated save files because that one item you tossed into the lake is still there... while also spawning in more items that you may drop is still there. I can see this becoming an issue, so i hope they fix the tide so it deletes everything then respawn everything like the first game did.

Went to the safe house up in the train car and waited out the tide twice, when I went back to the area all 35 enemies were gone and it was a ghost town. lol

i have seen at most in a single area about, 12 enemies. With cover, its manageable. Whenever I go to an area, I always finish all the quests in it, just so I don't have to go there twice. Whenever I am back at base, I always force the tide. Maybe this is why I never have that bug happen to me.
