I have a Quest 3, with a normal 3080 and the game runs really well for me.
Try to use Virtual Desktop and follow these settings:
-Set the quality to high instead of ultra in VD
- Lock at 72 fps
- 150 bitrate (potentially works fine at 200)
- Updated drivers.
- All game settings are on ultra (except for Medium shadows)
one of these fixed it for me:
- Turned Windows power plan to balanced (the internet told me, that the performance setting can create problems with the 3D Cache of AMD CPUs)
- put ingame shadow and foliage settings on low
- disabled fov rendering (i have the feeling this one fixed it for me)
Hope this helps
on with vr headset do you play and can this be done with a pcvr headset
On the store page in the recommended settings it says you should achieve 90hz gameplay with an rtx 3080. You lock at 72 but ideally could you achieve stable 90?
Quest 3 with VD on the high setting. 5800x3d, 3080, 32 gigs ram. I lock to 90 fps most of the time. There are obviously dips sometimes. In game settings on medium with textures high.
Everything on ultra it may dip from 90 a lot more. Depending on location. But honestly haven't tried it.
