Game starts on monitor but not head set?

If you are constantly crashing with the game, make sure that if you use LIV or have LIV installed in general, uninstall it then give it another try. Most of the issues is from the OpenXR having problems still so this should hopefully help until they can get us a good patch.

i am not crashing.

Its starting but just on the PC not the headset

I just launched it from steam but then i launched steam VR and launched the game from there and its still not working.

Again, i can see it boot up on my monitor but when i look into the headset it just says "launching"

maybe make sure openxr is enabled in steamvr settings?

it will be down the bottom on the left tab, look up on google how to enable openxr in steamvr. Also make sure if youre using LIV to uninstall it and retry launching the game. Devs have said that the game only supports openxr right now, and having LIV installed will cause issues.

all you need to do is uninstall steamvr

I had this problem earlier. I tried uninstalling SteamVR before but it didn't work for me. How I fixed it was:

Download the "Steam Link" app from the meta store (in the headset) and run it through that.

Dude, I love you. I just got the game and it does not run.
Now, I deinstalled LIV and it works just fine.
