A question about ennemy spawn
How it works exactly ?
So far from what i saw :
=> Each tyde, ennemies repsawn around same areas but usually with more people.
=> Each time your renter in a zone (before tyde) : all ennemies respawn but their spawn are radomize as much as their position (to the point you can some in front of the spawn point).
but the loot didn't respawn.

So from what i understand : it is better to wait a tyde and do some missions as ennemies respawn anyways.

I'm at the same conundrum... There's really not much point to the tide if the player clears out an area and the next time the player comes back, there's even more enemies. It's silly !

But it is just still a work in progress. I played the original ITR a lot and it had all kinds of adjustments for the difficulty level. Enemy damage, enemy spawn rate, player damage, ect. So I have no doubt this game will implement that as well eventually.

It feels also silly because i use the first map as a test place.
=> So far each game (tyde + night or just night) increase the number of ennemy and the tier of ennemy (i have tier 3 enemmies as i am security level 1). At least i manage to survive and the game keep give me healing item so i stand up but still.
=> Loot keep spawn but become less and less attractive :
(*) Initially i was founding half shotgun and it get replace with makarov or nothing except ammo.
(*) Some items didn't spawn much or every two tyde (as cube).

I also seen this, but I am wondering if this is not related to missions, I did Forest run without mission to test multiple gun, and once I cleared an area it stayed cleared, had to sleep through the tide to get respawns.
My expectation is that respawn is related to missions, they probably spawn mission specific enemy in some area depending on mission, so if you clear an area on the way to mission objective and once you get the objective done, they may respawn some mimics/spawns to make the return home more challenging (I guess they do that for TOP missions not standard ones). Once you return home, complete mission and go back to same area before the tide, now the "normal" enemy are present, maybe if you did not clear the area then mission enemy + normal enemy are now present which may explain larger number of enemy than expected. (of course it's only my observation maybe Dev can shed a light on the mechanism).

The enemy spawn needs tuning. Sometimes I get swarms respawining on my way to a new mission in the same tide period. But resources don't respawn as far as I've seen. The mission reward isn't worth the bullets I need to spend.
