Dev Question // Your Questions
Hello explorers!
As always, a warm thank you to our previous post participants. Today’s topic is a little different than what you’re used to, but it can greatly help us understand how the community is feeling and what are its general concerns…

Your Questions
  • Your Questions. What questions do you have about ITR2? Maybe stuff you are excited or worried about? This isn’t a Q&A, so don’t expect us to answer in this thread. Instead, what we’ll do is, based on your questions we’ll adapt our future Dev Diaries (and socials) accordingly, providing answers in them over time.

Please keep in mind these questions are to generate discussions and ideas. They aren’t a guarantee of anything to come or go, change or remain as is.

Try to describe in detail your thoughts on this subject. Thank you, and have a beautiful day in the Radius :)

How many different types of usable artifacts and enemies are planned for the beta launch?
crossplay?
So for me, the first part was a revelation for the potential for VR and one of the reasons why I haven't given up on it yet...
But if I were to change anything, it would be that there would be significantly more indoor battles and that the buildings would be bigger or that there would be building complexes that are simply huge.

Every time I had to enter a building, the gameplay for the shooter part of the game came to life and got me so carried away.
The phases outside the buildings were also really good when I remember the railway bridge, for example.
The sneaky scenes without much enemy contact carry the atmosphere of the game very elegantly.

Keep up your great work
Hi, can you guys make PT-BR translation for subtitles and interface?
will there be an option to disable enemies such as the case with ITR1? I really liked that by the way

On things I'm worried about, I'm worried that the plot of the sequel won't work without significant suspension of disbelief. We'll be going into an immersive experience knowing everything about the first game's protagonist, what happened to them, and the reality of the radius, so I'm worried that in coming into the sequel playing a new individual, that we'll be expected to pretend we're ignorant of that. I've said it elsewhere, but the first game ended with us realizing we're a powerless pawn in a simulation, so the sequel has to give us a reason that makes sense to us. That was a tiny weakness in the first plot - I didn't have a reason to want to rescue Katya, since there was neither a plot nor personal connection to her, except that I coincidentally ran into her on the way to my own escape. For the sequel, I'll start the game knowing I can't escape and I'm likely not real, so why am I going in? Why am I not just assuming any damsel in distress I meet is a trick and just embracing nihilism?
Will there be stealth mechanics where I can sneak up and grapple attack or assassinate? It would be awesome to sneak up behind a mimic and snap its neck or something similar.
Is it ready yet :-)
