Quest store and Steam store crossplay

Will ITR2 be able to play together if one purchased the game on steam and the other on the quest meta store? (Quest 2 and 3)

My guess is probably not since there isn't really a common cloud server for both versions.

A quest version is not in their priority right now, as stated by a lot of dev comments. The beta itself will be PC only, probably then would they try getting the game working on Quest and then seeing about crossplay. A lot of other vr games have managed to make it work, I can't see why ITR wouldn't.

I don't think ITR would use clouds to save multiplayer games. The last dev log talked about how co-op is going to be done, and that method would only really require local saves.
