Either way, I just abandon squads with Volts in them
IMO, the best thing to do is scold the player who's being annoying or thoughtless, then take the L and leave and start again and hope you aren't put with any annoying frames, that way eventually DE will be getting overwhelmed with players complaining that everyone hates their main and maybe DE will do something then..
This is one of those things that's just too broad or complex to really have a solution but I certainly feel your pain constantly being irked by other frames changing my gameplay but oh well what can you do
There are situations in which being under the effects of these warframes is quite useful and tactical. Volt helps you reach an objective or the exit faster and Limbo allows you to avoid damage when you are under extreme fire.
Maybe when you use Titania it's more complex, because when you use the fourth ability it doesn't allow you to cancel effects and you start to fly like a poisoned moth...
But I don't think it's that big a deal. Typically the boost is advantageous once you realize the boost is going to be coming throughout the mission.
and scolding people for innocently playing a videogame is sorta dumb
For melee attacks, if you're doing a specific combo, well, just spam it'll outperform your base combo anyway
how about we add a "accept aid" section, where we're able to select if a teammate is able to buff us (ideally going into frame specifics)
i too get VERY annoyed when im playing razorwing titania and a freindly volt gets 2 happy any time im near... im ALREADY moving at double speed, i dont need more.. it makes it virtually uncontrollable when you get a very sudden burst of speed... and in razorwing, youre not able to just "backflip" out of it
easy analogy to make to everyone to understand the issue thats actually being addressed
imagine you have a limbo or frost that is intentionally dropping domes in order to disrupt your damage and annoy you, you dont have any choice but to either stick it out and put up with the trolling. or leave the mission and hope they dont get matched with you again
as for the "just solo and your problem is solved".. the game isnt designed around solo play, there are a good amount of game modes that are 100x more difficult when solo (steel path interception on some tile sets)
Sure if the volt has a low duration or makes it their mission to harass you it'd be useless, but those things aren't usually true?
I kinda recommend learning to use it, though, because the buff is pretty dang helpful.
iirc I used to just sprint when it was too fast to parkour with.
As for what you said about stances... no. There used to be stances where you had to sneak in wait periods to do properly, but they've all been changed to be a lot easier.
