Note: because of Balefire Charger's inherently low critical chance of 5%, you may not get that much utility out of secondary critical chance boosters. For instance, if you gave yourself a 100% *increase* in critical chance, it would only raise this weapon's total critical chance to a whopping 10% instead of 5%. The only realistic way you'd get consistent crits out of Balefire Charger is if you used something that increased *base* critical hit chance, like Arcane Avenger.

True. But It's just an extra side upgrade in addition to the actual secondary anyway.
