you don't fix it, it's a full weapon with a catalyst pre-installed with its own slot.

Wrong, it is a weapon you just gotta kill Stalker and he will drop the BP for the full version, do a search on wiki and look yourself..

i know he drops the BP for the full version, I assumed OP was talking about the Broken War, which is the 1 handed smaller version you get from completing the Second Dream quest

nope, , you can't use broken war to make the full version

I'd keep the broken one, for now. It's one of the best one-handed weapons at the moment, but the completed War is just an impact version of Galatine.... And you cannot get another broken one, at least, not yet.

DE promised to make it a sortie reward in the future, though.

If I heard correctly, it's on the nerfhammer chopping board right now. Note: It's a shortsword type weapons with identical stats to Dragon Nikana, available for free at rank 6 and it's stances make it much faster that Katana type weapons.
