And on a different take about the "FoMO" ("fear of missing out"), I really would like to be able to play Operation: Scarlet Spear, even if as an event, because at that time I wasn't able to due to several IRL work related overload and didn't had enough spare time to spend upon gaming. And tbh, that's one of the few pet peeves that I've got against WF. And somewhat furthering that argument is that Digital Extremes (DE) always tends to deploy new: game modes; content islands; and/or types missions but rather rarely irons those bugs out and/or properly fleshes those modes in to being an enough decent reason for players to spend their time upon after the initial flare.
Since DE is such a successfull multibillion Dollars company they at least could try and dash in some quality into their previous released work inside WF, apart only reworking what they deem fit and/or nerfing what breaks their idea of "game balance".
This is an on and off game for me for years, I don't feel any FOMO
Edit: By years we are talking 10+ years apparently, still no FOMO playing maybe 20% of the time, master rank legendary 2. Like I said Nightwave is literally the only FOMO mechanic but it really doesn't matter that much, cosmetics repeat and most anything else can be bought from players. If you haven't played the market yet you're probably sitting on a goldmine of plat, check warframe.market
This is what Orphix Venom is, minus a bit of fluff- I do agree that having to read fluff on a wiki (and Fandom of all godforsaken places) is dumb, we need an ingame grimoire tbh
If you fomo on cosmetics that's a you problem not a game problem and you deserve to get your money taken away from you to put to better use.
You got that backwards, it gets buried under reactionary naysayers who bring up the most pedantic nonsense and try to pass it off as a point, and who rely on vapid yesmen such as yourself to engage in mob mentality for a facade of legitimacy.
