Do you actually like the Operator Gameplay?
Whenever I switch to Operator it feels like I have to stop whatever I'm doing then do some errands then go back to the fast phase gameplay, feels distracting at best.

when i had a basic amp and didnt re-jump into the schools after many reworks i would say it was chore to me, but now that i've leveled up some schools and made a nice amp its just part of the gameplay loop

also to the people who say their operator is slow, boring, and/or useless
you kind of have to get a good amp and level up the school to bring it up to speed with your frame and weapons
almost like how you can't just bring an unmodded level 1 gun into steel path

i dont know why some people expect things to just *work* in this game, you have to level up things, mod things, in higher level content you have to have better builds, in steel path you have to have some synergy in your build
crying that your operator you have put no time or effort into is useless is just embarrassing

early on yes the operator is quite clunky

but after u get a better amp and some decent arcanes the operator becomes a beast on their own

unairu + a 747 + lockdown + melt + strike + logistics ; is what im using atm

using madurai + onslaught - enables u to be able to basically 1shot void angel shields

Considering it’s not near as fun as regular gunplay and bullet jumping and aim gliding etc. no, I don’t.

Outside of void dash spam, which is annoying to control with precision, they are also far too slow compared to your frame. They can’t even slide.

Whenever I switch to operator it feels like the gameplay slammed on the brakes.

No, what's embarrassing is that the operator isn't fun and engaging right out of the gate. Bullet jumping and warframe gameplay is fun from the start and only gets better. Operator gameplay sucks a fat one and gets barely tolerable later on. THAT is what people are complaining about.

Never liked "tenno warrior" thing. Specially because warframe what u are using simpy stand still and do nothing and enemies just ignore it mostly, it's silly, at any point of view

I'm not a fan of how confusing operators backstory is. So the they took the kids off the zariman and then sent the zariman back into space, despite the zariman disaster being publicized into one of the inciting incidents for rebellion against the orokin?

No, the Zariman is stuck half in/ half out of the void. They got the kids off the ship from the half of it that poked back out. I also don't know why you think it would be an inciting incident. They obviously aren't going to tell people the bad parts about it. Most likely it is just reported as a random accident that they managed to rescue some children from.

I think the operator gameplay before the War Within was better

amateurs.... the operator is an amazing ability switch that can ensure you survive anything and void sling can jump further and higher and faster than 85% of the frames it has its uses try incorporating it once in awhile for moment when things get difficult trust me you will come to love it being able to switch to a operator at certain times is flat broken you all need to learn the power of the operator
Frost Spectre Jan 22, 2024 @ 1:45pm
The Operator/Drifter adds extra uses.

It is an extra gun to deal with Overguard in some cases, and the school abilities offer extra utility, Zenurik for Energy management and slow enemies with Headshot damage bonus, Madurai for general offense and mobility with both Operator and Warframe, and so on with other schools
If both Operators and Drifters (at least this) had similar movement to frames, then it would be much better, maybe no bullet jumps but same speed sprints/rolls. I have all trees maxed out and outside of the run/sprint speed, I like it, it feels like another skill but at the same time, like a pilot.

As said by other posters, the mode has tons of utility from stripping armor to extreme movement, which can add a lot to frame gameplay like mobile absorb nyx or stripping armor/shields from enemies while using frames with no strip skills.

the conversation is about whether or not people like the way it feels to play, not an argument of if they're powerful. we know that all you care about is power, because number go up, monkey brain happy, but the operator feels dogass to actually play as for most.

the operator is objectively broken for their tools in cases with things like status effects and literal immortality with Last Gasp. we all know that. imo if the operator is moving faster than your frame in any other circumstance than an open world or the circuit- it's a skill issue. but that's just me.
edit: grammar

I'm used to it at this point but i had a hard time accepting The Operator game play when it first came out. Turning into them didn't feel like an upgrade to the experience. I felt weaker, slower, and clumsier. I couldn't even fall 2ft without having to stumble to my knees like a pleb.

But I think it's a decent way to remind you how awesome the warframes are. get a taste of "normie mode" for a moment every now and then. But fun? Not really.

Uh, Operator can slide just fine. They don't bullet jump but they can slide just fine.

Tap shift.
