The missions that I remember were excavation, exterminate, defense, survival, and void flood.
I think the only mission type you can actually fail in the Circuit is defense. The rest have no "fail" setting of any sort so it's just a battle of attrition until you finally complete the task or run out of lives trying (edit: Wait you can probably fail survival too if you run out of life support).
you get 1 decree at the end of each mission and also 1 more for every 3 glowing diamonds you find (there are 3 in each mission)
The Duviri Experience is the regular story mode. much like a bounty; the windowed person chatting at you will tell you to go do stuff and you go do it. You can also run into random things in the world and do those things. This is the most "open world" version of duviri.
You can collect decrees for each completed section of the bounty as well as 1 more for each side hustle you find on the way (a chest here, a puzzle there, a fishing game over yonder, so on).
Lone Story is the exact same thing as the Duviri Experience, but without the ability to interact with anything in the world that isn't specifically about your bounty. In the end you have less decrees. I'm not sure if there's an upside for it.
Lone story is really only good for Pathos Clamp farming if that's your focus. But thats kinda it
But I find it a bit awkward when the Devs happily highlighted how you can chose between those 3 options and decide on your own how YOU want to ENJOY the new content but then you actually have to play all 3 or at least 2 of them anyway to unlock things and make progress.
