Hows your Ivara?

Do you play Ivara (prime) solo? or in group? what all do you use your Ivara for? how much do you enjoy her?

I ask because she feels like one of the absolute strongest frames, being the unlimited invisibility setup.

So far, some sabotage missions, some interceptions, some defense, and mobile defenses I cant clear with her. but ever other mission is pure cakewalk. Throw that golden Instinct on her as her 2, and now you got an easy way to get the hidden secrets on the level without worrying.

Since we're talking about Ivara, I have a question. What are some suggestions for replacing her projectile control? I know it's one of her OP abilities for Eidolons, but I don't have a build for her to fight them yet. I don't use it in regular missions.

I like Ivara, I just don't use her much. If it's stealth we're talking, Wisp is my go-to. Hopping around with no concern for energy or speed is pretty easy to do.

Some rescue missions automatically alert as soon as you enter the holding area so stealth is a basket that isn't always worth putting eggs into for Rescue.

I just feel like spy is the only mission I would feasibly use Ivara. Which isn't super fun for me. But if needed in spy then she's reliable to cheese it.

If there were more stealth-focused missions it'd give a lot more value to the stealth-focused warframes.

Capture, Easy stealth to the target. If you got a Laetum or Phenmore, jsut pop some heads to charge it, then when you get to your target just snipe real quick and bam. done.

Rescue, With high duration and efficiency, Go stealth, drop a cloak arrow on your target and Sprint home.

Exterminate... well, your hidden.. see if you can get a perfect accuracy with just hittin heads up close. no brainer. lol

Survival, you can steal time drops off mobs, and just sneak from recharge to recharge.

Defection is jsut like rescue. Just have a bit more rage for the group, and shoot one of the group with cloak. easy peasy.

Disruption, The artemis bow is ridiculously over powered. Stealth, then unload up close on the suicide bomber.

Defense, Mob defense, Interception, and Hijack are the only troublesome missions for her solo.

Everything else, is a breeze. Shes who i use to get my Lichs and sister. Also who I use for 80% of thrall and hound hunting. 20% goes to khora with her cages and acc. whipclaw.

You are 1000% right that stealth is her key... but the headshot multiplier from prowl, and the broken ability of invisibility makes it jsut too much fun. im rarely running with people... usually because they jsut think *I shoot i win. Mechanics? what are those?*

Considering that both my regular Ivara and Prime happen to be my mains for most missions I'd say that it's a breeze to acomplish higher content level solo while using her Stealth to your advantage.
And also coupling that with a Sahasa Kubrow with the Dig mod Precept is quite handy for it always finding you what you need if you manage to find a quiet spot for jhim to dig or stay invisibly quiet until foes drift away and the pooch manages to dig Energy Orbs, HPs' Orbs, Ammo' (for weapons without the convert ammo' mod'), etc. etc.

For ex., I've got my Deral Vandal silent to acomplish some Exterminate missions faster due to its shooting accuracy DPS and similar goes for Capture and Rescue with a silent Nataruk and/or using a silent Laetum (fyi, I also use Nataruk to go easy, peasy Lich killing). And also those weapons are barely having any Formas in them so that I'm still playing higher level content while still levelling stuff up.
For a mere ex., I can shot that Parvos' coin groupie with several weapon of mine upon Corpus missions without it even noticing that it's being killed due to simply having the Hush (for primary weapons) or the Supress (for secondary weapons) mod's eqquiped.
In the past I've also done solo Eidolons with a silent Lanka but apparently that isn't working as smoothly now. It could be tied to the fact that PoE's landscape changed a tad after The New War quest, but I'm also having the instinct feeling that something else was changed during the last time I've went after those because their default stats being hit feel different and thus making their hunt harder for me to achieve during the that area's night time frame as I used to.

For instance the 1st Forma that I've placed upon my Cernos Prime was a few days back and did a Sortie's 1st Spy mission after just having reset its level, so... I still prefer to use my head and go with Stealth than rather guns ablazing and speed running through levels (because that feels way too grindy and far less amusing for my particular tastes).

I agree. Ivara is a hunter. Stealth is helpful, but not her only bag.

Parkouring everywhere with Wisp is very fun for stealth

I've swapped it with Condemn (Harrow's 1), you get shields which helps you with shield gating, pared with a rolling guard as usual so that you have time to react when taken by suprise and your shields gets OSed. It also CCs ennemies so that you can land headshots easier with Concentrated Arrow.

I think it's the best combo so far, no need to go invisible too as you'll be invincible as long as you cast Condemn to rebuild your shields.
You can clear any content with it too. Pretty easy to use, just need a Harrow to subsume, this might be the hardest part lol.

I play her solo - headshot build with her augment. Procs loads of slash and bleed with an aoe effect. Rips through steel path easily. OP frame if played right. Combined with stealth, you can do whole solo runs taking zero damage. So no need for health mods or damage reduction faff... Just mod for pure strength and duration

She has unlimited stealth, why bother with shield gating when you can just yolo
No need for cc since npc's stand still when they can't see anything after running to your location

She's an op warframe, but she's also very slow.
Considering that this game is all about fast clearing and rushing as fast as you can, nobody would want to use one of the slowest warframe in the game.

hrm, if you have read the previous comments, seems quite a few of us Love ivara and totally know how to use her to our advantage. Oh, did you know theres a mod to allow you faster movement speed when invisible? or that dashwires (when jumping forward off them) sends you faster than a WuKong going astral fart? I dont know how you run her, but i can beat people to the finish, and kill more with her in a survival than most. (gyre is a top for beating me in kills with that chain lighting rotoswell).

In over 2000 hours I don't think I've ever seen an Ivara carry any significant amount of damage for a group, and outside of a map with a lot of open space she isn't winning any races over normal parkour either.

But if you've got a video of this fancy ivara-fu you're talking about, I'd love to see it.
