Good prime melee?

What is a good melee weapon to farm for? I’m looking for something that has a lot of crit or status

Galatine Prime for Crit/Status, but it's relics are vaulted.
It has %20 Crit and %20 Status chance but I suggest you use it with Maiming Strike.

Status wise, I like the Redeemer Prime as I like more gun play than melee and the gun part is very satisfying to perform. It also got very high status chance when you get all 4 status elemental mod on.

In any case, you should look into Zaw melee as they can out-perform any melee with the right build.

Tipedo, Gram, Nikana, Redeemer, Galatine, Bo (sorta), Orthos, and of course the best of all Fang Prime.

I took an extreme liking to the Dark-Split Sword. It may not be prime but it for some reason does rediculous damage and it's extremely fast.

Progress through the main storyline and youll unlock Excalibur Umbra. It comes with a Nikana called Skiajati. Has lovely status chance and finisher turns you invisible for 5 seconds. It cant get more ninja than that.

Btw there is Dragon Nikana and Nikana Prime, the latter is vaulted. Dragon Nikana is available to be built at MR8.

In terms of crits and status, the Destreza Prime has pretty good hybrid potential. 18% status chance, 24% crit chance, and a 3.0 critical multiplier. And if you have the Vulpine Mask stance, it becomes a slash proccing machine. So a crit-viral build will make it very reliable.

In terms of non-primes, I liked the Dual Keres, Hirudo, Kesheg, Jat Kusar, Sarpa, and Tatsu.
