Thoughts on the excalibur zato deluxe?

Pros
i love the asymmetry of the skin and it brings a fresh new feel to the repetitive fashionframes i have
cloth are textured pretty nice and looks leathery, i assume it's supposed to look that way
Monster Hunter look gives me quite a bit of nostalgia of MH3 that i used to play a few years back
Nice noble animation especially with the pipe

Cons
skin clips through itself and it annoys me a lot
asymmetry causes a lot of syandanas to not match, the one i'm using is the garuda one
kubrodon skull can't be removed unless replaced by another armor part

I'm getting a strong 'old ronin' vibe off the Zato skin.

I can tell a lot of work was put into it (designing two halves is tough) but I still think it looks goofy

10/10 It came with 2 new animation sets and it's own exalted blade skin. Plus the skin itself is just a beauty.

It's so good that I bought the skin even though I never use Excalibur, but I probably will now!
I rate it a perfect 10/10, not only the best skin in Warframe, but in any game ever.

I look at the concept art and 3d model side by side and it's pretty much a 1:1 replica. I don't understand how you can dislike the finished product if you liked the concept???

he looks a bit more balanced since his clothed side isn't as big
the stance that the concept is in is way better than the noble animation stance that we got
the beads also look more detailed in the concept, it looks like ♥♥♥♥♥♥ plastic beads ingame
and also concept art doesn't show clipping since you know, its a picture

It's mostly the same concept artist "Liger Inuzuka" (Responsible for the Nezha, Nidus, Atlas, and now Excalibur deluxe skins). Highly detailed but look off to me, probably because of said detail, makes the look very noisy(?) or cluttered compared to the generally more clean and sleek looks of the regular and primed frames. Though, Deluxe skins are kind of meant to break the frame's mould.

yeah that's just minor technical things tho, it's not like a lot of other skins where the design itself changes from concept to 3d, it's still very much identical in design

precisely, it's perfect for deluxe skins, it's unique and a big wow. all of ligers designs are amazing
