Are warframe or weapon bundles worth buying?

Some of the bundles that come with a warframe and weapons themed around it seem really cool, but are any of the bundles actually worth buying?

Since all weapon and warframe (except vaulted primes) can be obtained for free if you are willing to farm for them. I would say no. But its up to you.

Plus Prime Access is only good for the cosmetics, since you can trade prime frames and weapons for far less money (theoretically no money since you can sell stuff to other players, but if you get a 75% discount and buy plat you shouldnt spend it on the market to buy frames/weapons directly)

the deluxe bundles are worth it if you want the stuff that comes with it but thats only skins

One thing to note, is that if you purchase a bundle with weapons of a higher mastery rating than you are currently, you can still use them.
I started playing warframe with the octavia+weapon bundle (it's really the only way i could be convinced to play warframe), and i didn't even know the Tenora i was using was 10 mastery above me.

As others have said, you can get any new Prime Frame/weapon that comes out through farming... but you can bet your bottom dollar I'm going to buy the Titania Prime bundle, I'll probably buy a dozen

They’re overpriced. You can get a mesa prime set through trading for 50p for example. So much cheaper than the bundles

Generally speaking, no. They are often overpriced, and you can usually just farm most things for free.

There are exceptions yes, but there's only a handful of those.

SOME warframe's are a pain in the ass to farm and it MAY be worth buying for with plat. The general rule is, you just dont waste your plat on it

Haven't played for very long, which ones are a pain to farm compared to the rest?

Harrow, Nidus, Khora, Equinox are probably the worst, with Baruuk/Hildryn being up there if you don't care to rank up through the Solaris United/Vox Solaris syndicates.
Grendel is somewhat of an actual challenge to get, and if you don't have any friends/people to gather to share the cost of each key, then that's a bit of a an Arbitration grind as well.

You still have to acquire the resources to build the stuff if you trade for it and then wait several days to built the frame. Buying it from the store, it is already built, comes with its own slot AND it’s own catalyst/reactor to double its mod capacity.


To the OP, yes. I think they’re worth it-especially being able to bypass MR restrictions and some of the exclusive stuff from it like Garuda’s bundle having the Bloodshed Sigil
