Best primary weps ?

Is there some consensus on which are currently the best primary weapons ?

Kuva Bramma, Acceltra, Corinth Prime. These will carry you anywhere in my experience.

Proboscis Cernos, Phantasma, Kuva Kohm and Kuva Chakkhurr are decent too.

Mostly all with decent builds, find your style, but Tenet Arca Plasmor/Envoy, Cedo, Ignis Wraith or Bubonico is a very common pick atm.

There is no "best weapon" in this game, almost all weapons works well if you know how to build it, i would recommend you to find a weapon that you enjoy using and build it.
The primary weapons that i enjoy the most are: Bramma, tenet arca plasmor, amprex and ignis wraith.

I second Kuva Bramma, Ignis Wraith, Arca Plasmor, Cedo. Supposedly the Kuva Zarr but I fail to see why it would be any better than Bramma unless someone cares to enlighten me (ammo isn't an issue) with Bramma for me)? Bubonico would also be great if they fixed the size/placement of it until that happens it remains shelved.

Depends on the stage of the game you are in.
for really early stages anything works but if you reaching pluto and above you need some meta weapons like arca plasmor, IGNIS, LENZ, HEK, and many other weapons. (I am suggesting weapons that can kill real good with minimum mod req)but above that which is arbitration and steel path which unlock after completing all 277 nodes in the star map, you need KUVA bramma need TENET envoy WITH perfect build and mods. RN its hunter munition and slash build. you will also need a riven mod. nothing else can kill a lvl 225 grinier gunner.

I feel like the word "need" is being misused here... because otherwise that would imply i couldnt have brought my mk1 strun with me to solo every sp node and just rely on melee and warframe abilities instead (with the exception of like... 2 bosses... lephantis and ruk i think it was, that i used a semi decent primary on...)

Best primary is subjective, all base content,, even sp and arbies, can be soloed with sub meta gear.

Serious answer based on established subjectivity: best primary is tetra series with kinetic ricochet, preferrably with much multishot and an obnoxious energy color.

Vaykor Hek, if you want a gun that feels powerful, is capable of doing starchart and sorties 1-3, and if you like the grineer aesthetic, you will like this gun. Only downside is that you cant use the augment on it, why DE why.
