Is Chroma Prime worth it?

Keep him for the sake of collecting alone. Then you have him if you need him later.

I quite enjoy him, he's also very handy for leveling weapons as you can effectively slap an extra 2-4 base damage mods onto them. I was able to fit an umbral build on him with just 1 forma too, so he's not exactly expensive to build for either.

Chroma can amplify his own armor and damage when being shot, if that's your playstyle then go for his prime. He also sells for a lot of plat.

he's my #1 frame in the game, so i may be a teensy bit biased
but hes amazing for levelling up weapons because new weapons suck before you can properly mod them and chroma can give some sick damage buffs to make otherwise trash weapons into competent killers

Definitely grind for chroma prime either way. plat prices for him are definitely going to go up once he gets vaulted.

I took over oberon prime because of the nerf that happened on chorma so i dont know enough about chroma but still he sems fun to play

I never Liked Chroma and with Chroma Prime I dont like it either.

Its problems are too easy to notice...it powers are sub par in my opinion.

It looks neat, the powers have neat descriptions...but actual game play...leaves alot to be desired.

Chroma prime is the newest Prime to come out, so it's fairly safe to sell parts you have right now then farm them again later since he's gonna be out there for a while.

Chroma is a very high tier frame but he's also one of the most boring frames in the game. He only has 2 abilities worth using and they're both passives that simply buff defense and damage. They're amazingly powerful, but completely mindless hands-off abilities.

He is due a buff and their are downsides not to add him to your collection.

Right now 30% users consider him good 20% has no opinion 50 screams garbage.
Unless you can get above 50 plat for him dont sell. Get last piece and level him up. MR will be your reward and if DE decdes to buff him you will be glad for having him since his prices gonna go up at least 50% (unless announced buff will be laughable).
