best build for kripath with riven?
I got a riven for it and made a build for it. I have never made a proper zaw build before, or even made a riven build before.
https://overframe.gg/build/79870/
that build includes the riven which I rolled.

I main wisp with 100% attack speed increase, so idk if it's worth having both beserker and +attack speed from riven. Maybe replace beserker with organ shatter or keep rolling riven?

oh and I haven't even made the zaw yet so I can't really test it myself yet :( I'm waiting for stupid plague star

the deal of the day sometimes has plague parts, but getting the right combo is like playing a slot machine.

I like polearms so I went plague bokwin + plague kiripath + VR II
does 4455 on paper 'total' damage category modded out best I can + 63% crit chance at 4.2x etc. its a little slow but it works great for me.

same boat as you.. ive got a nice plague keewar and no plague star parts ... just waiting for it.

your other option is a rapier, I think. Can it make anything else? Not sure.

Viral + slash and condition overload + weeping wounds. Blood rush if you are going for crit.

it's worth sacrificing lots of base damage to use a +slash mod?

In the specific build you posted, The slash mod (ideally Buzz Kill), if you were to use it, would likely be in place of either Voltaic Strike, or Beserker.

The main benefit of adding a slash mod is that it increases the slash damage which thereby increases odds that when you do apply status it will be more likely to be Slash's.

I usually mod my attack speed based on how it feels to actually use. For a Zaw you can try to match the modded speed (1.70 for the posted build) on one of your other polearms to get an idea of how it would feel.
