Best polarity for mod transmute?
Buying transmute cores from cephalon simaris, should I go with madurai transmute cores?

Depends, trying to go for a certain mod?

Mainly just the achievement, but I do need Bezerker and that's madurai, but I'm not sure if other polarities have other good mods which I don't have too

Condition overload is also madurai, which you could profit from if you get it.

Usually just not worthwhile unless you are missing a whole slew of mods for certain polarity, have a ton of rare mods for that polarity, and don't particularly need the endo. There are very few mods that you can get from transmuting that are difficult to get, and most of those are only like 5 plat to buy from someone.

I agree with Buris. It really isn't worth it. Too many credits for such a low chance of getting something worthwhile. I mean, if you have the mods and credits to do it, then go for it, but most of the time it just isn't worth. If you still need Berserker, I think I have one more extra. I managed to get 3 the other day and I gave one away already.

Transmute cores remove the credit cost, and if you have nothing else to get from simaris (even though you could just sell some of the stuff from him instead) you can buy the cores for free transmutes and possibly get a mod you need/could sell.

True. True.

- Exilius Adaptors until you have one installed on every frame and a few extra for new frames/primes.
- Most the Similaris mods can sell for a decent amount of platinum.

Both are more useful than rolling the dice on a transmute. Even using only rare mods will usually just give you a stance mod that you've likely already picked up.

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dont buy that crap

if you must get a cred booster and spam index medium, lots of credits and gold mods that drops from there to trasmute

The transmute cores are only 10k standing... that's <1/2 a day's worth.

If you're jsut doing it for an achievement, go ahead, could save you some credits at least.

Don't expect to get anything awesome from 1 transmute though. Go ahead and pick the one for something you know you want and maybe the stars will align and RNGesus will be looking the other way and you'll get it or something else you didn't even know you wanted. More than likely though, you'll get something that you don't care for.

Transmute is rerally just there for an alternative for the people that are tired after thier 900th PoE incursion or 200th hour in Ophelia or 50,000th kubrow kill without getting the rare mod they want but refuse to trade someone plat for.

I have, like, 5 of those collecting dust in my inventory that no one wants to buy for more than 30plat (not gonna get rid of them bc of pets 2,0)

From my experience you only get 1 good mod in 100 transmutates and thats seriously not worth it time and credit wise

nice -- still haven't gotten one of those though I've not really been trying -- killed tons of kubrows getting eggs and running apothics though.

With the transmute cores there is no credit cost and it only takes a few seconds to click to transmute with piles upon piles of mods sitting in the mod station.

1 in 100 starts sounding pretty good after months of condition overload farming and / or PoE incursions.

Not that archwing rage / condition overload are worth plat to me, just completionist / hope melee 3.0 doesn't muck it up =-P

Heck, Bite might take an uptick in value with kubrow / kavat vacuum coming soon.

Yes, but you won't get enough transmute cores in a reasonable time to transmute 100 mods
Buying cond. overload for 80plat (current avg prize in my region) from prime scrap is more time efficient than farming for transmute cores or the mod itself. (let that sink in...)
