Azima has A niche secondary firing mode, good damage for early to mid game

zenistar is A heavy blade which fires A flame throwing disc, good damage even for high level games

zenith is A assult rifle that can shoot through walls with its seconday fire(not 100% sure about how to trigger the ability)

would zenith be the best since it was previously locked behind 500 days?

I would probably choose the Zenistar.

That doesn't really matter at this point. But if you're asking if it's significantly better because it was locked so late, eh, it's a good weapon.

Zenith is very much like Braton P(primary fire) and the alt fire is not very useful since its range is too limited and it's not a direct wallhack but uses laggy circles that do not even match the enemy positions.

Zenistar is the only one that is actually useful in certain situations. Azima and Zenith are weapons that you don't use unless you really like them.

Zenith's alt fire has a gimmick that lets you see through walls in a small radius, but you can just ignore it and use it as an infinite punch-through semi-auto rifle with 35%/2.5x crits. Also the primary fire has high status chance and majority slash damage.
Zenistar is good, but only in niche situations. Azima is just kinda trash. In my opinion, Zenith is the best log-in reward weapon by a mile.

Zenith is awesome for it's infinite punch through. You can fire disk that marks enemies and forget it. If you see lots of marked enemies you can hit them from other side of the map.

It has some issues. Marks on Corpus Ospreys is below/ in front of them, not middle of their bodies so hittin them can be hard.

Zenistar is great but you can't wander too far or the flaming disk returns to you and it can't hit through walls anymore

Zenistar, get Zenistar first. This is very easy to decide. Conider you newer people lucky, you have the choice of getting it at 100 days reward, previously all of us had to wait till our 300th day

Now try using it with Ivara's Navigator. Navigator's damage buff stays on it even if you deactivate it and you also get 8x melee stealth damage multiplier when you're invisible. :)

You hit secondary fire for the scanner disk and as long its active(look at the hud for effect time) it turns into semi auto
