Had a quick sneak look at Disruption mission and wonder what damage types work best against Demolysts (considering have such short time to kill it)

Under the assumption that they are sentient fragments (i'm still updating), anything that breaks eidolon kneecaps should work with them, more specifically radiation as they are robotics but also not.

So Radiation is the way to go? Or use a weapon high base damage/DPS? (read they have resistance against elemental damage? or was that wrong?)

I think it is radiation.

Basic rule for fighting them is do not let them come too close, spread out, look for them a little bit to reduce the panic of meeting them close up and then having to reload or something.

Headshots deal 2x damage so note that, tho for some of them I am not sure what is the head or the weakspot.

Apparently Khora's 2 works on them so you could use that as crowd control

Well looking at their stats they are weak against gas and Viral damage, Other things that help dealing with them is Mesa, as long as you have line of sight you should be able to deal with them.

Harrow is helpful in this too, haven't tried Banshee or Nova yet but those 2 should be able to increase the damage against them. But yeah they can take a lot of damage.

Did they get buffed recently? Noticed they are no longer affected by abilities

According to the wiki its the same weaknesses that corpus crewmen or moas have, depending if you are facing a demolist based on a human or machine.
So magnetic against the shields and viral/toxic if it is (was) human or electric if its robotic

Rhino's 4 seems to stop them for a short time.

I confirm that Rhino Time Stop works.
Also, that power make ennemy weaker, improving rhino power duration and strenght seems to help.
Only thing is that you need to time it well since it have a small delay before activating, improving rhino's ability range is sound advice.
At least, that frame is not "worthless" everywhere ...

Let's not forget that there are Grineer and Infested disruption node now.

So Grineer and Infested demolyst have different attribute. Radiaton is the all rounded way to go.
