If you want the weapon, kill. If you don't, convert. There is no better option, so there can't really be a general consensus. I will say that if you want to get the mastery from the weapons, you need to kill one lich for each weapon type so you can get the mastery for the weapon.

You can see if they have it on them visually so you can also go by that.

It's both. You can kill or convert and you will still get the ephemera

I wonder what happens when you convert multiple ones. Do they all spawn in as a squad? Are the chances for one to spawn in cumulative or is it just a flat chance and then a random roll for which converted one comes?

They make me laugh = they live. Otherwise RIP.

When my converted lich spawned it caused me to drop connection in a public match though. Hopefully that was a one-off.

Do you see the ephemera in the gui where you can see the lich or do you only see it in a mission?

Ol' Mud Butt referred to me as friend a lot, his last words to me were "friend, friend, friend, we need to stop meeting like this!". I think he just wanted a buddy... But I murdered him in cold blood for that sweet, sweet puncture damage hammer of his.
Then yesterday, a miracle happened. Mud Butt rose from his grave and came to my aid!

I am totally with you on this one, I got the same guy as my first one and am so excited I can convert him! I want this guy as my side kick forever XD. I wish converting them had more benefits though, like being able to summon them on a weekly timer or somthing.
