If We do the math:
6150 Pearls for everything at 50 Pearls per run with each one taking 5 minutes.
6150/50=123 runs*5 mins=615 Minutes/60=10 hours and 15 minutes.
Don't you think thats a bit much for such a tedious gamemode?

Don't include the mods. You can easily farm them by killing Kela at any moment.

It's 85 runs not counting the mods. The mods can all be farmed from the Kela De Thaym boss fight.

Don't include the mods. You can easily farm them by killing Kela at any moment.

I was hesitante to include them in the calculations at first, but this gamemode is aimed at newer players(hence it being on earth)and they don't have access to sedna yet.

I think the simplest fix is limit the overall kills to 50 and once you hit 50 you finish, then treat it like index where you can 'continue'. The only other is make it so your kills are added on top of the 50 you're given at tier 4. Since the average amount of kills is about 60+ for a pub group, that'd be 100 per 5 minutes roughly (with the potential for higher).

Somehow people are defending it in it's current form, I cannot - too grindy, even for a grinding game. And with the ability to leech off of other players by not contributing and being able to idle/afk it as well, makes this event an overall 'technical' failure, even if it's a slightly refreshing (nopunintended) re-use of assets, very disappointing.

I won't bother much. Just buy what you think you needed the most then wait for next year. Don't think they did the map just for this 10 days and remove them.

They'll likely just reskin it for Winter, and have snowball fights. Not that I would mind... maybe they should throw in some different maps though.

Don't need anything if we're being honest - don't need any resources, warframes, weapons, to even install or play the game.

However, this is a discussion form, where we discuss things. And in a grinding game, about loot and collecting, when the grinding gets a bit too much (which it is in this case) we mention it.

Honestly, I don't see a issue with the cost of things since the event has a time limit of 10 days. The highest priced items are cosmetic which don't affect the game in any way and can all be obtained by doing only 8 missions per day. Yet, the things that matter are the mods which I would say are reasonably priced especially when you figure how you would normally have to get them. Seems this event is aimed at letting newer players grab some decent mods, while letting the vets have some cosmetic items to grab.

Just the colors and 1 of each mod
most people probably already have medi-ray, electro shielding, and acid shells so only 1000-1200 or so for other mods.
actually it's all farmable from Kela so just do her a few times and see what you need left.

Yes, you can buy a color palette, a Captura, Sigil, Emblem and most important a Beach Ball, the best thing about the Beach Ball is you can place it in your orbiter and your Kubrow or Kavat will attack it and kick it around it's hilarious.

I found a solution!!!




Try to get an amount of about 20 to 1 of points (idk I think that everything from 20 to 0 up to 20 to 8 is safe win) until the half of the game and then you could just afk. (This is for solo players. For groups I think 30 to 1 would work which means 30 to 0 up to 30 to 14 is safe, above that it`s a no no).
And since in probably every match you play there is a god like player who gets 30 kills by himself in the first 2 minutes it will be easier too. (Allthough THAT DOSEN`T MEAN YOU CAN LEECH. YOU SHOULD DO THIS ONLY WITH PREMADE GROUPS. LEECHING IS NOT GOOD.)

EDIT:
It will not shorten it, it will make it more easier to endure.
