i can only upgrade weapon slot with cash ?
are there any other way ?
you start with some platinum. You can trade with players to get more platinum or you can buy it. But yeah at it's core the only way more platinum comes to be is because it was bought by someone, and the only way to get more slots for warframes, sentinels, and weapons is with platinum.
Trading with other players for platinum to get slots shouldn't be that hard.
At the very least many people will buy any 5 junk primes for 5-10 platinum.
you can trade for platinum with other players for free
things that are tradable :
- Mods
- prime blueprints and parts that you get from void relics... (doesn't work for parts that you build in the foundry)
- special weapons parts and blueprints (eg vandall and wraith)
- syndicate weapons
- ayatan sculptures
That's still a big task.
I've been wondering about this kind of stuff as well, considering that at least two of my weapons have passed the level 20 mark already (Excalibur as well), and I'm still on Venus. So that seems to happen much faster than expected. Too bad I actually like the weapons, and from the looks of it I'm going to get a "Boltor" blueprint from opening the Mercury junction which also fills the lack of having a gun like that (I chose the bow). Of course, I'll have to kill that boss first...
At this stage, "any 5 junk primes" is just endgame talk for me. I don't think I have a single "junk prime", and based on the "prime" I'm not sure I'd want to sell my first "junk prime" at all. Even more so since players actually buying "junk prime" for platinum means there must be SOME worth to it -- just like I still have many "damaged" mods equipped, simply "damaged" is better than leaving a slot empty.
The big problem is that everything that tells you about getting stuff to sell assumes you have uber-endgame gear and access to everything, and you just need the platinum to buy colors and stuff. Right now I have 50 platinum, and I suppose those have to last until I actually have access to the farming...
You get prime parts and blueprints from relics after opening them.
You open them by doing fissures (more or less equipping a relic, collecting 10 reactant and then finishing the mission to open it).
There are different teirs of prime stuff. Lith relics are usually stuff you can open on earth and about that range.
It's not endgame.
It really isn't end game. You actually could start farming what you need this instant, with perhaps at most needing to unlock map up to Mars for highest potential.
And people buy those cause you can trade them at an endgame dude for currency to buy some exclusive items, and they don't want to farm those themselves.
You can do what you want, but if you are really in a tight spot platinum wise, this method will always be there waiting for you, just FYI.
If that's your starter plat, then the advice is always to buy 1 warframe slot (20p) and 4 weapon slots (2x 12p).
