Seekers Edition Problems

So I had to reinstall ffxi seekers edition on my computer, but now when I log in the game tells me that not all my expansions have been installed and Seekers of Adoulin is grayed out and my dlc shirt and hat are gone. Please Help! I cant figure out why this happened since its the exact same steam download I had before.

I had the previous abyssea version before the seekers came out. I bought the seekers bundle, unistalled the previous version and deleted the files recommended, installed the seekers bundle patched updated and still the seekers expansion is grey. I have the key but no clue where to input it.

Steam finally got back to me. You need to imput the seekers code on your account on square enix's page (secure.square-enix.com). After logging in the code input is under: select service (column on the side) -> FFXI (big button in the middle of the page) -> Add Service Account (button at top of page by image). Then you can put in the three codes steam gave you. One for the game, one for the shirt, and one for the hat.

Then it gets tricky. Steam said that their version of the game isnt deleting properly SOOO, you have to go into the steam folder and delete everything dealing with FFXI yourself before installing the seekers edition because uninstalling and deleting thru Steam doesnt work and seekers WILL NOT SHOW UP AS PURCHASED. Now you can install the seekers version and log in on PlayOnline and seekers should be there. You can also now get your shirt and hat from a moogle outside the residential area (there is one in Windurst, Bastok, and San'doria but NOT Jueno). Talk to the moogle and he will offer you the two items.

How did you not know what do do here? You always just add a product code when you buy an expansion...Squenix kinda made that loud and clear on your sign in page on POL.
