playonline registration code

Small issue. My registration code from final fantasy 11 doesnt work because I need a registration code from the playonline account but when I try to synch it with my square enix account it says I have the wrong password each time. This has to be a common issue. What am I doing wrong? I'm making sure everything is correct. Any help would be great appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure you've correctly set up a Playonline & Square Enix account before linking them together. Password wise are you using a security token to enter your one time password? or just the password under where you enter your username? .

You need to enter 2 passwords in total if you got a security token. If it doesn't work try to contact SE support on their website.

Ok, I got everything up and going. Finally.. Wasn't an obvious process for me. xD

So...Is there a way I can use a trial instead of paying for my first few weeks... or do I have to buy a sub since I have the seekers edition?

The trial starts as soon as you start playing, you get 30 days free to try the game out before you need to start paying the monthly sub.

The good thing is you can cancel the sub whenever you can't afford it then reactivate it when you can pay.

The version of XI doesn't matter it applies to all versions of XI.

My only other concern is..Who would we contact to fix the playtime recording on steam?..also, it would be nice if they added a photo. Could we get them to do that?

Okay the biggest problem people are having is actually logging in. When you get the registration code, go to square enix https://secure.square-enix.com and click on the ff XI option. THEN click on add new service account and put in that registration code. It WILL GIVE YOU the play online ID and password. THEN go to the PLay online viewer (just open the ff XI exe) and press the one where you register CURRENT ACCOUNT (Not new ones) Put in a new name, put in your Play online credentials then your SE credentials. Then just follow the prompts. DONE you can now play and download and update FF XI
