We've seen similar issues related to the All Maps Atlas Resolution Settings. Can you try both turning this setting down and up and seeing if that solves the issue or changes what you see? You can do this by going to
Home > Settings > Performance > All Maps Atlas Resolution
Please note that increasing the All Maps Atlas Resolution may result in lower performance.
It would be helpful if you could tell us what you see in both cases, increasing and decreasing the All Maps Atlas Resolution.
Can you please let me know what values of All Maps Atlas Resolution you tried setting Universe Sandbox to?
Do you see the same issue if you add Earth to a new simulation as you do if Earth is in the Solar System simulation? Do the two Earths look the same?
Does Earth look the same if you add it to a new simulation while the simulation is paused vs. if the simulation is running?
Can you also please try lowering the Render Scale? If this value is not set to 100% by default, can you please let us know? Try lowering it to 75% or 50%. You can do this under
Home > Settings > Graphics > Render Scale
If that doesn't solve the issue, can you please try resetting your settings? Here are some instructions on how to do that

Please let me know if you have questions about any of these steps.
