Can you please send us a copy of your Player.log and the crash_report.log files so we can look into what might be causing the crash and see if we can figure out what might be happening? Here are some instructions for how to do that
https://universesandbox.com/support/emaillog
You can find this by
1. Clicking on the Start button in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen
2. Right-click on Computer and choose Properties. A box should then display showing you the version of Windows you are running and which service packs you have installed
I'm using a GTX 980 Ti with 16 GB DDR3-2133 RAM on a P8Z77-V PRO motherboard
Could you switch to the Update 33.0.2, launch Universe Sandbox, and them email us a copy of your Player.log file? Even that would be helpful to have. Here are some instructions for how to get your Player.log file
https://universesandbox.com/support/emaillog
You can switch to Update 33.0.2 by
1. Going to your library and right-clicking on Universe Sandbox
2. Selecting Prefereces
3. Going to Betas
4. Selecting Update 33.0.2 from the list of betas
5. Universe Sandbox should update automatically to the older version. If you just launch it and close it, that should put enough information in the Player.log file that we can look into the issue.
1. Launch Universe Sandbox in Update 33.0.2
2. Go to Home > Settings > Performance > All Maps Atlas Resolution
3. Set the All Maps Atlas Resolution to the lowest (or second lowest) setting
4. Close Universe Sandbox
5. Update to the most recent version of Universe Sandbox (no beta applied)
6. Try to launch Universe Sandbox
If that does not work, can you please email us a copy of your Player and Player-prev.log files so we can better look into the issue?
