Game will not even start

When I go to play the game I will hit play, then nothing happens. I've tried all the easy stuff like restarting my pc, restarting steam, switching drives, tried running it in VR mode still nothing. I just hit play and nothing happens...

im having this same problem, i even tried reinstalling it and it doesnt start

I'm sorry that Universe Sandbox is not starting when either of you try to launch it.

Can you please try the following things:
Make sure you're running the newest version of Universe Sandbox:
http://universesandbox.com/support/updatetolatest

Verify the integrity of game files:
http://universesandbox.com/support/verify

If you've tried these things and you're still having a problem, could you please email us a copy of your Player.log file? Here are some instructions on how to do that:

I have done all of this however, when I switch to a Beta version it will launch right up. Kinda strange but it is what it is.

We definitely want you to be able to play the newest version of Universe Sandbox without using an older version on our Beta list.

Unfortunately, I don't see a Player.log file for this issue. I'm sorry we missed it. If possible could you please:
1. Switch your Beta version to "None"
2. Try launching Universe Sandbox
3. Email us a copy of your Player.log file? Here are some instructions on how to do that:

That will allow us to better find and fix the cause of this issue.

I have same problem game shows as running in steam but game itself doesn't launch but stopping game in steam brings up an exit game box as normal
