Mac | Unable to launch Universe Sandbox after Auto upgrade

Hi, I'm not a regular user of Steam and Universe Sandbox, but it is the only place I play.
I hope this is the good place to post.

Last June I launched U.S. one day and I have this message at launch, apparently, there was an autoUpdate done and the new installed version was not compatible anymore with my 10yo iMac, while I was playing some weeks before without a problem with the older version.
The message I got
Minimum System Requirements Not Met

I tried to find olders versions of U.S. in the link but I didn't find anything.

I bought Univers Sandbox because I love space and stars and I like to play, no a lot, juste from time to time and I'm a little upset that a simple Auto upgrade/ update stopped me to play, especially without warning from Steam or the Developer on the screen before launching the download and install. I didn't launch it for some weeks before so I don't know which update is the one.

How I can do to downgrade simply to the earlier version which was working perfectly ?
And how I can stop AutoUpgrade for games in Steam ? I don't find the switch in Settings/Preferences.

I tried to find answers in the discussions, but as a non English person, I find it difficult to find anything on the subject. I tried several keywords but nothing more than this page which is not really understandable by me. I tried to do the beta stuff mentioned but I don't use beta and don't know what to choose in the menu.

I'm not sure that reinstall the Steam and U.S. app from back up Time Machine will help, U.S. is told to be installed in 2018, I guess changes are done on line, not on the Mac.

Hey Olivier,

Here's some instructions on how to revert back to an older version of Universe Sandbox:

1. Exit Universe Sandbox, if it's running
2. Right-click on the game title in your Steam Library
3. Click on ‘Properties’
4. Select the ‘Betas’ tab
5. Set the dropdown menu to ‘*update-24.1.2-directx10’
6. Close the Properties window
7. Steam will now update Universe Sandbox to the Update 24.1.2 build
8. Once updated, launch Universe Sandbox

There's also a few other options in the dropdown menu for even older versions, feel free to give those a try if the directx10 one doesn't work.
