Do you know when it last worked? We did push a couple updates this past week.
Edit on 2017-12-25...
SOLUTION:
Pressing F11 twice (to toggle fullscreen -> windowed - > fullscreen) should make the mouse respond again.
I ve only used it with the mouse.
The cursor does appear like normally but has no effect at all.
I ve just update my distro thinking it would help, but it did not.
Is there any log i can send or anything i can do to help?
(sorry for my bad english , im french)
"Mouse is working just fine on Ubuntu 16.04 here...
Just applied the latest Ubuntu updates, the mouse is still fine."
(and your English is good, I'm sorry I don't know French)
You could send us your log file, and we'll take a look:

Well then no universe sandbox until 18.04 for me then ...
I ll send the log anyway.
I realize it also sync with the moment i upgraded the nvidia driver version 384.59 from the ppa. I should probably test with other version of the drivers, but I m gonna be lazy on that :]
Thank you anyway :)

Upon restoration, do not turn on fullscreen until more is known about the issue.
Anyway, you don't have to delete all the settings folder, if you edit
and change
to
it will work again but I have to do it every time before starting the game. Very annoying.
Thank you for your patience!
Yes, I also do have the feeling that this is not direct universe sandbox fault.
I did noticed that the same behaviour happened with City Skylines but only the first time I ran it, after (re)installing the NVIDIA drivers. Then I killed the game and after it always worked fine.
I also do have another computer with Ubuntu 17.10 and this problem doesn't happen with any game but this other computer does have a lower version of NVIDIA drivers (340 I think).
If there's any way I can help with this issue (maybe sending some logs) just let me know.
Thanks so much for your eagerness to help. As Jar mentioned, we're hopeful that this issue will be resolved when we upgrade to the newest version of Unity. We still have some kinks to work out, but we're aiming to put out a minor patch with the updated Unity engine in the very near future.
Once that is released, it would be really helpful to hear from you whether you are still having the Linux mouse issue. If you still have the issue, at that point, logs may be useful. We have a few internal Linux machines to test on, but I don't believe any of us have personally seen this issue (though others have reported it).
Thanks again!
If you don't make it full screen I believe it works? Or press F11 to toggle back to windowed mode. I think that might fix it too?
I have the same problem on Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon. On version Linux Mint 18.2 Mate everythings have run very well. Today I've downloaded update but still mouse clicking doesn't work.
Linux Mint 18.X is based on Ubuntu 16.04 packages
