If a game is free, there need to be either Ingame Purchases or Ads. Both of those are worse than just buying a game.

There are plenty of games that are free to play (literally just free) and free of these two things you have mentioned, so I have to strongly disagree with this statement and point it out as completely incorrect. Plus, some of the best game out there ever created are free and do not contain in-game purchases nor ads.

I agree that buying a game is better than having any of the two (purchases or ads).

The PC Building simulator could be free, with money from the manufacturers whose products are presented in the game. But you can write to NASA or I. Mask to sponsor this game.

This actually reminded me I got a code for this years ago when it was still US2, off a Humble Bundle. Problem was it was a code given after purchase when it reached a goal and unlocked, and wasn't listed as one of the games. So I never knew I got the code because I never got an email or anything. Found out when I checked my HB account a few years after and the code had expired.

Not asking for it for free now, just felt like sharing that story.
