HELP: my Universe Sandbox 2 doesn't work!

Hi everyone, how are you? I am new here! I'm having trouble with my version of the game.
I tried deleting it, downloading it more than twice, checking files, changing version but it won't work the same.
What can i do to fix this? I mean, it crashes by itself when saying: starting sandbox.

Sorry for the delay.

Did you try the troubleshooting steps I linked to? It looks like there's an issue with the Steam interface. Specifically, please try disabling the Steam Overlay. Instructions are available here: http://universesandbox.com/support/disableoverlay

I tried 'em before you wrote me to try...
I tried disabling the overlay option, but it won't work too... maybe it's because it's Mac haha...
Anyways, i downloaded it on my pc, and it works good. the only bad thing is it's old, so it happens to lag, freeze and eventually crash.
I think it's ok to me. what specs would you personally recomend to enjoy a full immersive session? btw thank you for this awesome sandbox, i totally love it.

Sorry that disabling the overlay didn't fix it. It should work on your Mac, as it works on mine and on other user's Macs. I'll pass your log onto the team and we'll look into it further.

Out of curiosity, did Alpha 18.2e work for you? (select "NONE - opt out of all beta programs" in the Betas tab)

As for hardware, we recommend at least 1GB Video Memory, 2.6 GHZ quad-core, and 4GB RAM.
