Making a Star from scratch?
Am I able to use the Materials tool, to input enough hydrogen into a simulation that it forms into a star?

An object has to be about 75-76 jupiters in mass to change any object into a star. this is the only requirement for any object becoming a star. Materials do not matter anything will be a star above the mass requirement.

You have to put the hydrogen into a planet or asteroid

I used the gas giant "Minaena" to create a star, and it turned into a star at a mass of 78.5 Jupiter. It is however a little difficult to create a star - no matter what you create it from - asteroids, moons, planets (including gas giants and dwarf planets) - it will always turn into a sad grey star. sooooooooooooooo.....

i know why it needs heat to glow since it has no heat it is a black dwarf /star

I was able to create a star which actually was glowing by just adding the materials hydrogen and helium onto an asteroid.

The thought of imagining how much hydrogen that would have needed to be in an area in order to create a super-massive star is insane to contemplate. =3
