Universe sandbox 2 coming to console?

what are the chances of Universe sandbox 2, after all the game does have Patrial Controller support and from 2017 4 years ago quoting from dan dixion a developer "4 - We've already announced that we're working on a mobile version, so there's no question the Xbox (or the PS4 or even the Switch) would be powerful enough to run Universe Sandbox" so is this possible

they really should work on bringing it out of alpha state before worrying about console ports.

We don't have any official plans for a console version, but we think it would be a lot of fun on console! We stated in our Roadmap blog post[universesandbox.com] that we want to add support for gamepad (such as a PlayStation or Xbox controller) on desktop. Once that is in, it could open up other options...

We're also still actively working on the mobile version of Universe Sandbox (iOS and Android), but there is no scheduled date for release yet. We are excited about releasing it when it's ready.

Hey I’d love to see a console release it’d be perfect for the PS5 and new Xbox as they’ll be strong enough

Thanks for the feedback. We still don't have official plans for a console release, but we're hoping to get back to working on gamepad (such as a PlayStation or Xbox controller) support soon for Desktop and to improve Steam Deck compatibility. And like before, once that's in, there may be other options like consoles available.
