how do i make a good looking galaxy?

i know there are the simulations that have actuall nice looking galaxies. how do i make one? the presets are just all the same thing with dark matter surrounding them.. i fastforward 10 billion years and nothing has happened....how?

simulate a galaxy?i still dont know much about this program.but i think maybe it's too hard for both this game and our pc.

The galaxy collision simulation is basically there to give you an idea for the galaxy tech that the team intend to use. That's how galaxies should eventually work and look like once they are completed, for now, the insertable ones are just there as placeholders, and have minimal interactivity.
