Planet Manual Temp Settings not locking.
New to the game and forgive me if this sounds like a newbie question but how come I can't lock surface temps on planets? Trying to terra form Venus and Mars on Earths rotation and scale (in the goldilock zone), resizing planets work fine as well as the other options, but when it comes to the surface temp, they just revert back to the original planets temp. Any help is welcomed.

Pre-made planets work on their own unique climate to give them their very own characterisic flavor. Venus is larglely the way it is due to its cloud cover and incredible greenhouse effect. You can't just change these planets outright, you have to find a way to cool them down or warm them up in another fashion. Try moving venus farther away in the zone close to where Mars is located and you should see temperatures beginning to fall to more bearable levels. As for Mars it has next to no atomsphere so giving it one could bring you all the heat you need to crack the ice on the surface however it won't be quite as warm as Earth unless you find a way to trap more heat or increase the amount of heat from the source reaching the surface of Mars.
