Adding Meterials to planets
Why do they cause mass planet wide destruction apon impacting the planet i'm trying to terraform. i just wanted to add a smidge of water to earth and Oop there goes China O_o Gone.

One little speck of water (or any meterial for that matter) makes a Massive crater where it impacts. like i threw a planet at it, that don't seem right.

Thanks for reporting. This is an issue we're aware of, though we've debated what exactly should happen when using the dispenser. We have some design choices to make to address this, but it is on our list.

For use in terraforming, I think you're right that it doesn't quite make sense if it is destroying things, too. In the meantime, you can always open a body's properties window, click the Materials tab, and adjust them there.

Sure, but the Organics though. :/ Oh and..Any chance we could get Tectonic plate Simulation anytime soon?, Next up date or so?. and on that note how do i encourage islands and contenents to form on waterworlds?. throw planets at it?

Organics isn't really hooked up to anything right now, and hasn't been, which is why we removed it from the Materials tab (we should also remove it from the dispenser). Aside from adjusting the ratio of the other materials, it didn't do anything. We plan to get this working in the future, though! Hopefully, this could also go along with some other planetary detail improvements we are implementing, which may eventually allow for things like building land mass and carving shapes. This won't be coming too soon, though.

As for plate tectonics, please see Dan's response here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/230290/discussions/0/142261027573003381/#c142261352646895824

We think it's an interesting idea, but it's not currently on our to-do list.
