Creating new blood stone from inactive one
Hi!
Is it possible at all to create/renew blood stones from those inactive ones? I do recall some iformation about it back in the early quests, but I'm not sure... Please help - I've got 5 blood stones and 7 inactive - so all 12 needed to enter the Source Temple.:behind:

No. Once a blood stone is used, it reverts to being a star stone, which your characters promptly absorb, leaving an inert stone.

There are more than 12 blood/star stones to be found in the game, though.

And is there any way to pick up the blood stone WITHOUT activate it?? For example, when I kill the random boss, who's carrying the blood stone with him and in the moment of his death it falls on the ground (the stone) WITHOUT getting activeted? Because most of my blood stones where instantly activeted the moment I kill bosses or finish quests so I've never got chance to pick them up - I was left with used inactivate rock...

I'm simply looking to find quicker way to enter The Source Temple using blood stones without turning back to every places where they originally were :elinfluence:

As long as a blood / star stone was triggered, it should have opened another portal in the homestead. It doesn't matter if it used by an NPC, automatically triggered by getting close, or picked up and manually used.
You don't need the inert stones.

Right, thanks. I did that i it worked :behind:. Next thing - defiting the dragon... Would not be so hard if Astrare wasn't that weak so instead focusing to kill the Void Dragon a have to heal her all the time!

Blood stones never activate when you pick them up, you have to use them manually. Star Stones activate automatically when you get close enough (or use a blood stone to make it into a Star Stone).

Interesting... 'cose I remeber picking up at least 7 stones which automatically activete the moment they fall on the ground. Only 5 blood stones were able to pick them to my inventory in case futher use. But in the end, "Raze" was right: when you reach the main doors to the Source Temple and didn't reveal all locations in the End of Time, then (having rest of the blood stones at inventory) you should use them and activete rest of the portals and teleport yourself to EoT and speak to imp. Finally, he will inform you that all have been done and you are ready to go - so you back to the doors and walk without worry.
