Potion release?
I select a potion, but it won't drop where I want it. Then I can't do anything, can't unselect the potion, can't put it back where I got it. Can't control my creatures with the potion in my hand.

This is VERY annoying. Please advise how to use potions better or how to drop them unused.
Also with things like freeze potion, please ghost the casting area. The few I have gotten to work freeze everything in a small 4x4 area and I always seem to freeze friendlies.

you should be able to put it back where you got it from :-\

So you Right-click it back to your Inventory? If so, thats strange. Will try it... I too was unable to cancel the Potion drop in the first scenario (#4?) where you use them. Could not escape the Potion drop state unless I quit the scenario and went back to the main menu.

I also could not see a valid drop point at which to use the Potion (Freeze Potion). Supposedly the Dwarves were attacking, but I didn`t see anything except a trap and a few individual enemies (didn`t look like Dwarves) as my Imps ventured forward. Could not drop the Potions on them either. Maybe only usable in friendly territories?

It has to be on a tile you control (part of your domain).

You can only drop a potion on tiles you control or neutral tiles directly bordering your ones. Furthermore, if you want to get rid of a potion, you'll have to put it back into one of your cauldrons of your alchemy lab for later use. If you have no more free cauldrons in your alchemy labs, you'll have to throw away the potion in your own dungeon.
