Well of Souls defense
I have been playing around with some defense layouts and this one is quite amazing. In the screenshot below, while it isn't visible, there are 50+ souls (whatever they are called) fighting the ~20 level 10's. I haven't tested it in crucible yet but I'll try it out later and post results.

The layout involves fortifying the well of souls and blocking off the surrounding tiles with replacement earth so when you spawn a soul, it is forced into the nearest walkable tile (the fortified Wells are not walkable). The center tiles all have gargoyles. A small addition to the layout would be a aurge room to the south to protect the gargoyles.

Yea, you can achiev some awesome stuff with WoS.
I like to place 1 Behind my Reenforced walls, to kills workets who try to olace down some Underminers, or dig my walls

Suffice it to say that there is a new defense in the upcoming expansion that you will like. A lot.

I tried this on crucible and it was pretty nice, but difficult to setup due to the amount of parts needed. I also saw a bug with the floating eye boss (wave ~30?) where it just stood in the lane as if it was trying to target a Well, but when I spawned a soul it started to move again.

That's not a bug, that's a feature
