Origin, one of the compeditors of steam, is trying to draw more gamers by offering games for free, 1 game at the time, changing the free game every few months. At the time of writing this, they are offering Dungeon Keeper 1.

All you need to do is sign up for a free origin account. All you need for that is an email adress. When you have an account, you can claim the game on this page:

You don't even have to download the game right away. You dont have to install it. Once you claim it, it is yours, and will stay yours forever. You can download and intall it at any time, and unintall and redownload it infinitly. Just like with steam once you bought a game.

Yes ok, you have to download their platform origin too. But you can also uninstall and reinstall that infinitly. You dont have to keep it.
Again, for anyone who doesn't know Origin, it is the same thing as steam, only made by a different publisher, EA games instead of Valve. Different platform, different games, everything else the same.

Eh I'll let it slide, We're usually ok with discussion on other games and although it could be said this is advertising another product I think it's alright for now as we're all huge fans of DK. So I'll just be treating this as a PSA ;)

Yes that bothers me too! But it´s not like Steam doesnt. Or Windows itself! Windows 10 is organising my photos for me as we speak! The world has gone mad, it´s not just Origin.
