Can you stop beasts from exploring a certain area?
I keep losing beasts on the level I'm on because they've decided to attack an opening in the enemy base that's filled with traps; Is there and way to stop them with a command?

I realize a locked gate might do it but on some maps there are open areas where the flying beasts could fly around them.

I think this was covered in the tutorial but I've forgotten it...

If I recall beasts have drawbacks, they aren't fussy about what they eat, don't need to be paid but they are bloodthirsty and will attack until death.

I don't recall any mention of controlling them (playing through the game today) as that seems to be an intended con to them.

You've a Beast Rsally Flag, use that, but don't forget to feed them.

If you use a beast rally flag they aren't going to eat or train in the arena.

Indeed, but otherwise the Oculus (flying beast) will continue scouting.
What you can do as well is, to turn of that they will spawn

You can add your occuli to a custom warband as they're most likely to be the ones off scouting, they're the most curious of creatures, you can then rally just that group but dont forget to feed them. Doors are always an option for controlling movement of units.

Other than that by design of god games direct control of your units is not intended so we didn't want to give you the option to permanently shut off parts of their AI processes. You could say it's the nature of the beast :)

Okay, thanks guys, as suggested I rallied to the back of the map then turned off rallying so they go eat, then rally again

The ones that seem to get into trouble are the Occuli, the spider looking thingie, and the other flying thingie.

I didn't know you could do custom warbands, that's cool, thanks for the tip.
