Patch 1.6 Hotfixes - Updated April 20th

Hi All,

We're starting to compile all our hotfixes so we can provide clear patch notes in an upcoming announcement. I'll be dropping Hotfixes in here as they release.

Patch v1.6f12 - April 20th 2017

• Minor improvements to the Kasita theme ceiling
  
• Improved the visuals and animation of the Korvek core
  
• Fixed various minor code errors
  
• Corrected a mismatch between a miscellaneous Mendechaus voice line and subtitle
  
• Made improvements to Snowhope to prevent some objectives becoming impossible to complete
  
• Main Campaign level 10’s speed run achievement is now rewarded for the correct time
  
• Fixed an issue that prevented Annex being cast correctly
  
• Prevented the player getting stuck in War for the Overworld level 2 by selecting the wrong research in the Veins of Evil
  
• Fixed an issue that locked the Wrath branch of the Veins of Evil on My Pet Dungeon level 4
  
• Fixed an issue that caused Shadows to run through lava unnecessarily
  
• Rallying Beasts will now also rally the Beastmaster
  
• Placing a neutral room in God mode now works as intended
  
• Lady Aetna’s voice lines on Heart of Gold level 4 now stop after her death, though the permeance death appears to have little meaning to her
  
• Worker rally flags in multiplayer will now only show for the player placing them as intended
  
• Fixed an issue that prevented the hide User Interface button being displayed
  
• Prevented a rare situation where a worker would try to walk into the center of a prop
  
• Made improvements to the way that Artefacts are dropped by Workers when there is no space in the Archive
  
• Made various improvements to the German translation
  
• Fixed an issue that caused the Worker reinforce VFX to play incorrectly
  
• Fixed various issues with the Arcane theme

Patch v1.6f11 - April 12th 2017

• Prevented pixelation of the Floatymoticons on low settings
  
• Fixed an issue that caused the Magma Weaver to take damage from Lava
  
• Lava damage has increased from 50 to 200
  
• Gave the player 5 more minutes on level 11 before Mira channels the Kenos
  
• Revenants now fade much faster
  
• Added an optional objective to main campaign level 3 to encourage the player to prepare for the attack
  
• Made some tweaks to main campaign level 3 - the areas Empire units can come from should now be much clearer
  
• Fixed an issue that caused the objective panel to disappear on main campaign level 3

Patch v1.6f10 - April 11th 2017

• New unit portraits for:
  
  • Beastmaster
    
  • Behemoth
• Fixed an issue that would prevent players from claiming gold dropped by units spawned from the My Pet Dungeon gateway
  
• Minor improvements to the French and German translations
  
• Fixed an issue that would prevent Pigs and Rats being unloaded when changing level
  
• Fixed an issue that prevented the Description text of My Pet Dungeon maps being translated
  
• Moved the unit chat indicator to the new Floatymoticon system
  
• Stopped My Pet Dungeon Toybox units playing their Tavern speech
  
• Added new level end voice-over for main campaign level 5
  
• Corrected an underlying issue that would cause Gateways to spawn too many units
  
• Improved hit detection for the Shambler
  
• Improved the Possession camera for the Shambler

Patch 1.6f9 - April 7th 2017

• Made a temporary tweak to the Worker Sprint ability to prevent a known issue - this will be improved upon at a later date
  
• Minor increase to research speed that increases throughout the campaign mode, about 30% increase level on level
  
• Removed some broken rituals from Hell’s Deep
  
• Corrected an issue with C7 Heart Attack that caused too many units to spawn
  
• New unit icons for:
  
  • Succubus
    
  • Bafu
    
  • Augre
    
  • Terror
    
  • Shadow
• Vastly improved performance when large numbers of gold piles are on screen
  
• Prevented the Archon from spawning Wraiths in Chasms
  
• Improved feedback when adding a unit to your Possession raid group
  
• Fixed an issue that occurred if a cutscene played while in Possession
  
• Fixed the “Translation No Longer Supported” box failing to display
  
• Fixed the Toybox tutorial line failing to play
  
• Fixed the Kasita theme on Heart of Gold level 4
  
• Fixed an issue preventing the narrator voice being controlled by the volume slider
  
• Prevented ice tiles reverting to Dirt in My Pet Dungeon
  
• Corrected some theme translation names
  
• Corrected some issues with the Hell’s Deep objectives
  
• Fixed an issue preventing the creation of Warbands
  
• Improved the Possession Cam Bobbing option
  
• Prevented multiple null reference exceptions
  
• Prevented some rare crash cases

Patch 1.6f8 - April 4th 2017

• Fixed a rare issue resulting in the My Pet Dungeon user-interface disappearing
  
• Fixed a regression that resulted in players becoming locked in the Extras tab
  
• Removed duplicate entries from the Map Editor Empire theme selector
  
• Improved formatting of My Pet Dungeon arrow on the main menu
  
• Fixed an issue preventing Possession recall in special cases
  
• Prevented a NullRef
  
• Crucible and My Pet Dungeon Lobbies now remember player selection for themes and mutators
  
• Gold Rust’s Ember Lord's treasure objective now completes once you claim the first artefact

Nice work with the hotfix, I could complete Hell's Deep now. My Pet Dungeon has been really fun, great work everybody.

Two minor bugs in v.1.6 hotfix 9 (windows)

1) The Creature Comforts achievement triggers without completing the Labyrinth
2) The Possession Door description on the debriefing screen is too long to fit in the box

The game took a sixth of the usual time to load up, so looks like it's more optimization fixes.

The patch notes should be coming shortly, we're just spell checking them since our QA Analyst can't spell to save his life ;)

Patch Notes have been ready for some time but I'm not able to post them due to events happening tomorrow.

The Patch itself mostly contains refinements, particularly visual ones and a few bug fixes. Nothing major beyond the thingy me bob tomorrow.
