Yes, it's a glass cannon character with no points in defense. Some players struggle to beat him, but with high CS it's fairly easy.
With that amount of poitns I could kill Agathoth in 1.5 turns after drinking some potions. Had 7 APs left on the 2nd turn.
I am a firm believer that a good offense can make for a great defense, but just NOT in this game.
Interesting beaten the champion but can't find a good dagger. Wonder how you managed to not find a better dagger. I'm sure there are afew good ones along the way. Your stats are good for fighting. 10 out of 16 into combat stats. And I don't think 270 is in anyway low when your int is 6 at most. Basically, you can't tank and had to kill in a hurry and you were more than equipped to finish it quickly but you still found it totally surprising that you won.
TLDR: You're full of ♥♥♥♥ you know that?
Really? You find 4 sentences too much to read, wow. Here, perhaps the following will be too much for you to read.
I did find an excellent dagger btw. First thing in Maandoran you save the merchant from the thugs and he gives you "The Arbiter". Not the best steel jambia in the world, but it does have a THC bonus of 26. CS and passive are just 5 and 4, respectively. Still using it at the end of the game for those times I really don't want to miss.
Why wouldn't I focus on combat stats as, oh, AN ASSASSIN. Yes, let's just talk all those targets to death. I am sure that will go over well.
270 is easy if you know where all the skill points are and how to go about getting them, and that is extra con from the medical machine, 7 Int. Right now I am nearing the end of the game with 9 dodge, 9 dagger, and 8 in Critical. Remember, some of that you get from training just from being an Assassin, or knowing where to get it. I also have a slew of civil skills including alchemy 10, 9 in Lore, and 5 in many others, including crafting. Oh, and 100 general skill points to spare at the moment.
Do I metagame the crap out of this game, yes, I am an OCD gamer and don't like missing out on anything. However, it just goes to show if you know where things are you don't really suffer much from a lack of skill points in the game. Your statements to the contrary just illustrate how ignorant you really are.
Perhaps you need to get better, no?
LOL "4 sentences too much to read" I really have no idea where that taunt came from and what you are trying to achieve with it.
270 is not few for a low int character. Not sure why simple english is hard for you to unds. I didn't say that its a hell lot either. And yes, the game is generous with SP due to some complains here and there and also they want you to enjoy the full extend of the game. Still, all the talk in the world doesn't make 270 SP "few" by any measure.
So much for OCD. Per is obviously intended more as a middle ground but strictly speaking it gave you non combat SP when you increase it. But of course we have basically established that you ARE very stupid. So.. Oh well.. Everything has to be said in a textbook manner.
But IF you HAD to count Per as combat. You basically have 14 out of 16 stat points in combat yet you found it ALL SO SURPSING that you won easily. OMG
TLDR, or TL;DR, means Too long, Didn't Read. Obviously you have no idea what the acronyms you are using mean.
Your statements imply that you think 270 is a large investment. Perhaps English is not your first language? And again, I didn't spend 270, maybe around 230. The extra is from trainers.
Perception is a middle ground, on that I agree, but only right at the start of the game. The accuracy bonus, and effects on crits are what I found most valuable throughout the rest of the game.
Considering your constant insults that lack any substance or supporting arguements I am just going to put you into the troll category. I have nothing further to say to you.
1stly, no idea what made you think that I didn't unds TLDR. Must be some stupid logic of yours again.
ANWYAY. 270 is still 270. If your skill level was high, they'll give you combat SP instead of increasing its level. Is this textbook enough for you to unds? AND when I say high I meant higher than the SP required to increase the level and not OMG HIGH.
Just like how when I said that 270 is NOT FEW, you saw it as OMG ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UNBELIEVABLY HIGH. Which makes the whole conversation really difficult.
I repeat:
Basically, you have 270 SP worth of combat skill coupled with 10 out of 16 stats in combat (14 out of 16 by your definition), equipped with (in your opinion) the best weapon at your disposal. Yet here you are going around telling people that the final fight in the arena seemed like a joke to you. Which really is a joke if you think about it. But of coure you're stupid, yes I know that by now, so maybe you can't see why.
TLDR: You are full of ♥♥♥♥. Refer to above "lack any substance or supporting arguements" for a substantial reasoning as to why one would think so.
That will make you harder to hit, give you more acc and your crit should be as good as max (I consider 75% or more an overkill) So much for MR. "OCD gamer Perhaps you need to get better". But hey, how many times do I need to make your stupidity clear to you before you can unds. Probably infinite.
So if you want to talk about few, I think 165 is few. 270? Its not few by any measure. Decent amount of SP spent to ensure victory I would say. I explicitly recall that I only ever used 20 points from general SP that one time for a difficult early game fight. The Miltiades questline.
Want a video as prove? I can upload to youtube if you want. I can even upload a whole let's play just to prove that I didn't cheat at all (but that will take time).
